Materials
The key materials used in production are aluminium and glass. Computerised optimisation programmes ensure that these are purchased in a manner that minimises waste. Softwood timbers and mdf are used wherever possible for subframes and grounds. This is purchased from sources which are regulated and managed in a sustainable way. Company promotional material and letterheads are printed on re-cycled paper.

Waste and recyling
The Company recycles the main production materials of aluminum and glass. Aluminum scrap is melted down and extruded into new products. Glass cullet is either used in the glass manufacturing process or in the production of other building materials.
Other materials such as wood, cardboard and paper are separated for recycling and all other material removed and sorted for recycling by a licensed waste contractor. This ensures minimum use of landfill.
Packaging
Packaging is limited to card protection for aluminium inputs and tape protection only to the windows during delivery and installation.
