Series 80 Horizontal sliding unit

Description

A heavy duty horizontal sliding system with 2, 3 or 4 sliding sash panels suitable for treating very large traditional casement or ribbon windows. Thicker glass options offer higher acoustic insulation and a strengthened lock option achieves ‘Secured by Design’ status. Sashes run on stainless steel ball races and are designed to be removable to facilitate cleaning and maintenance. Sashes have a 40mm interlock stile, surface mounted finger pulls or optional recessed pulls to allow contra-sliding and twin silicone treated polypropylene pile weatherseals. Glazing must be specified in accordance with BS6262:2005 'Codes of Practice - Glazing for Buildings'
Options include locks, trickle ventilators fitted within enlarged timber head grounds and acoustic reveal linings to head and jambs.
All fixings are concealed within the frame, which may be linked to other frames with a colour-matched aluminium mullion/transom section or purpose designed timber mullions for bay windows.

Maximum sash: 1500mm wide x 2600mm high
Minimum sash: 500mm wide x 600mm high
