Home Products Series 20 Test Results Series 20 Test Results Series 20 sound insulation test results Series 20 air infiltration test results Performances All window styles have been independently tested by Sound Research Laboratories for both acoustic and air leakage performance. The tests are carried out on a specific size for each window style and strict laboratory conditions ensure that the sound transmission path is limited to the sample under test. The sound insulation obtained on site will be dependent on the surface area of the window and the efficiency of surrounding building elements. The acoustic performances are derived from tests carried out in accordance with the following British standards: 1. BS2750 1980 - The Sound Reduction Index 'Rm' is the numerical average of the 1/3 Octave Band between 100Hz and 3150Hz 2. BS5821 1984 - The weighted Sound Reduction Index 'Rw' is similar to (1) but takes into account the shape of the performance spectrum Selectaglaze Ltd reserves the right to change specifications without prior notice.
