Exciting new offices created from old Brew House

This striking Grade II Listed building has been remodelled to house quirky offices. The refurbishment has been undertaken with great care and detail to try to retain as many original features as possible yet bring it up to 21st century office standards. With detailing such as exposed brick work, arched windows and creative interior design, it has been beautifully transformed. Brew House Project Profile content In order to convert the building to offices, serious attention had to go into creating a comfortable, as well as stylish working environment. One of the concerns that needed tackling was heat loss from the original draughty primary windows which could not be replaced due to the Listing of the building. Each window opening was treated with its own unique, bespoke secondary glazed unit. To meet the challenging scope of this project a number of different unit ranges and styles were utilised. Forty, Series 46 (fixed light), thirty eight, Series 45 (side hung casement), sixty nine, Series 10 (horizontal sliding) amongst others were manufactured and installed. Care was taken to colour match the secondary to the primary windows as well as to retain original sightlines and functionality. This attention to details has resulted in a treatment that blends seamlessly with the primary windows. Optimal design and installation has resulted in windows that are thermally efficient and draught free.   Nick Porter of Caddy Windows said “The products are great and the customer service we received from everyone was fantastic”
