Selectaglaze was chosen as the preferred secondary glazing specialist due to previous projects that have been successfully completed with the developer over a number of years.
Six slimline units from the Series 20 range were installed to the interior side of the original primary sash windows. Each unit was bespoke in order to ensure a perfect fit to each opening and each unit was glazed with 6.8mm Stadip glass, which is an acoustic laminage. When a minimum gap of 100mm was created between the primary and secondary unit in order to achieve a sound reduction in excess of 50dB within each treated room.
