We recognise the critical importance of making a lasting commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions from our activities. We pledge to achieve net zero in line with science-based targets set by the UNFCCC no later than 2050, with an interim goal of a 50% reduction in emissions by 2030.
To achieve these goals, we have set realistic short-term and long-term targets. We report our total greenhouse gas emissions annually to ensure transparency and accountability.
Our PlanEnergy Efficiency and Waste Reduction: We aim to reduce our dependency on fossil fuels for heating, lighting and transportation by increasing the use of renewable energy sources. We are committed to achieving zero waste to landfill.
Responsible Sourcing: We will work closely with our supply chain to ensure all materials are sourced responsibly, include recycled content wherever possible and incorporate carbon impact as part of our selection criteria.
Low Carbon Products: We supply low carbon products that enhance building thermal efficiency, saving energy and conserving embodied carbon in our built environment, supporting the Retro First philosophy.
Ethical Trading: We avoid trading with suppliers that do not share our social ideals.
